Job Title: LAN Administrator
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
High Level Project Overview:
- Under general supervision, this role provides support and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Troubleshoots PC and Local Area Network problems. Is responsible for working in multi-platform environments with multiple business areas. Will assist with end user support and answering support tickets.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience with mobile workforce and data communications.
- Technical knowledge and experience with computer hardware, software applications and operating systems
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN network protocols
- Ability to work on technically complicated systems with little supervision.
- Ability to analyze principles of computer and software systems to interpret and solve problems.
- Basic familiarity with Office365
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to lift or move up to thirty-five pounds.
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Ability to be courteous to co-workers and customers, follow directions from supervisors and refrain from abusive or profane language.
- Ability to respond to multiple customer and employee/contractor requests or demands and manages workload by wisely prioritizing his or her tasks often and adjusting to the situation at hand.
Education Requirements, Licenses, Certifications
- Associate degree, CompTIA A+ or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure certification or three or more years’ experience and/or combination preferred.
- Must have acceptable driving record. May require travel to company locations less than 25%, depending on project needs
